1977: Mrs. Villar, Founder and Director, was born in Santiago de Compostela, next to the Cathedral of Santiago, the final destination of all routes of the Camino de Santiago.
In this beautiful and small city in the northwest of Spain, amidst ancient stones that radiate history, art, culture, and spirituality, she learns to walk and plays, studies, grows, and develops herself among the pilgrims who little by little arrive from all corners of the world.
She is part of the local population that, with their characteristic humanity, welcome and assist them. She carries with herself the Camino de Santiago and everything which it means, as part of every cell of her body, in her mind, and in her soul.

2002: She graduates in Political Science and holds an official Master’s degree in Economic Development and Innovation from the University of Santiago de Compostela, a renowned Spanish institution founded in 1495.
Deputy Mayor of the City Council of Santiago de Compostela and Founder of Be-Camino
2012: After ten years of a successful professional career, she decides to pursue her own entrepreneurial venture as the next step in her career and in response to a clear internal calling. After thorough research on all dimensions of the Camino de Santiago — historical, intercultural, artistic, spiritual, personal, social, gastronomic, geographic, sports, and nature— the project is born under the brand CCamina – “The Relativity of the Impossible.”
This project becomes a model of entrepreneurship in the city and is presented to the media at the City Hall of Santiago de Compostela by Mrs. Villar and the Deputy Mayor.
2014: The project is awarded the Business Excellence Award. This other recognition, received with immense gratitude and responsibility, is given in the heart of the Camino de Santiago by those who know the most about its origin, history, culture, and authenticity and are responsible for safeguarding it.

2023: As we celebrate a decade since its inception, we evolve our brand, renaming it Be – Camino, and decide to offer our Camino de Santiago experiences in the American continent.
